WASABI Co., Ltd. (“we”) handles personal information of users of “WASABI HAUL Japan Guide” (the “Site”), which we operate, as follows and in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other applicable laws. If there is any difference between this English version and the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Information we collect
- Information you send us: your name, email address, the content of your message and other information you include when you contact us by email.
- Access logs: information sent automatically by your browser when you view the Site (IP address, URL of the pages viewed, date and time, type of browser and device, etc.). This is recorded in the logs of our server and of the service we use to deliver the Site.
The Site has no user registration, comments or application forms.
2. Cookies, analytics and advertising
The Site does not use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) or cookies or tags for advertising. However, Cloudflare, which we use to deliver the Site, may set cookies that are necessary for security, to protect connections and prevent unauthorized access. If we start using analytics or similar tools, we will update this page.

- To answer and contact you about your inquiry
- To operate the Site securely (preventing unauthorized access and attacks, investigating failures)
- To comply with laws and regulations
4. External services (entrustment)
We operate and deliver the Site using the following services, which process access logs:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): content delivery and connection security (CDN and security). Access information may be processed on its facilities, including outside Japan. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Amazon Web Services (cloud server, Tokyo region): the Site’s server.
5. Provision to third parties
We do not provide your personal information to third parties without your consent, except:
- where required by law;
- where necessary to protect a person’s life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent;
- where we entrust its handling within the scope of the purposes of use (section 4).
6. Security
We take necessary security measures, such as limiting the staff who can access personal information and using multi-factor authentication, to prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal information.
7. Requests for disclosure, correction, etc.
If you request notification of the purposes of use, disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use or suspension of provision to third parties of your personal information held by us, we will respond in accordance with the law after confirming your identity.
